Business Processes Principal Consultant

The SAP Customer Value Group’s AI Center of Excellence (AI4U) team is focused on driving adoption and consumption of the BTP platform through the sourcing, design, and execution of customer AI proof of concepts. This team works in close collaboration throughout the organization to help craft the set of SAP Best Practices for AI development within and around BTP.

The team currently requires a functional architect in EMEA covering either Finance and/or Supply Chain. Each architect must provide a comprehensive understanding of their respective process domain and a detailed opinion on how AI can provide high value. Ideal candidates will not be required to configure solutions but will demonstrate a deep and thorough understanding of business process to customer functional leaders to gain credibility and demonstrate value.

• 10 years experience as a process expert within either Finance or Supply Chain, spanning multiple industries
• Ability and willingness to act as a functional expert and in a sales capacity to generate high‑value use cases with customer line‑of‑business leaders (no quotas)
• Demonstrated capability to solve complex problems in unique ways unconstrained by artificial constructs
• Demonstrated history of collaboration, knowledge sharing, and learning
• Demonstrated experience in actively learning new topics and capabilities
• Demonstrated experience as a thought leader
• Strong conceptual understanding of SAP AI platforms and toolsets

• Actively hunt for new opportunities within the assigned region, working with GTM teams and engaging SAEs, IAEs, and GADs to position BTP AI capabilities and create opportunities for workshops
• Lead on‑site execution of AI workshops to identify use cases and drive quantification of value
• Write functional and data specifications for identified AI use cases
• Collaborate closely with customer functional leaders and the BTP AI team’s technical and UX resources
• Ideate, position, and drive high‑value AI use cases in POCs and externally into the community
• Potential additional responsibilities: customer presentations, sales enablement, community management, blog authorship, mentorship, documentation, lite project management, and project execution (< 2 m engagements)
