What to expect of the Project Manager Service position within Huisman?

Working as a PM at Huisman means that you are responsible for managing service projects for clients and meeting the agreed (technical) requirements. You take care of the client expectations by adding value to their existing equipment. You take care of a direct follow-up, keeps the customer informed, makes sure for a good information transfer to Huisman disciplines as well as the Field Service Engineers. After the project preparation phase at the office, you will perform on‑site management on a global playfield for bigger service projects. You will be the first point of contact for our clients and, together with a full team of specialists, you will manage safety, financials, planning and technical execution on‑site.

• Determining and coordinating the scope of the project activities for a specific client;
• Identifying, follow up and migrate risks or seeing opportunities to ensure on‑time delivery;
• Being the first technical point of contact for the client during the project;
• Motivating the assigned teams;
• Willing to travel to manage service project on‑site.

You are:

• a team player, enjoys working in multidisciplinary and multicultural teams with the ability to work independently;
• flexible and creative;
• client oriented and focused;
• proactive and persuasive;
• practical, accurate and punctual.

You have:

• a technical or project management Bachelor degree or equivalent;
• relevant work experience in multidisciplinary, international technical projects in the maritime or offshore industry;
• experience in coaching and guiding teams;
• the ability to adapt quickly to new requirements, know how to prioritize and stay effective.

• An EU passport/valid work permit for the Netherlands;
• A practical disposition;
• A good command of the English language verbally and in writing.
