Odido is on a mission to become the most customer-driven telco in the Netherlands. We believe technology only matters when it serves people, when systems work, people can work, and customers get helped better. That’s why we build with care and intent: Human in how we collaborate, Optimistic about what we can improve, and Forward-thinking in the choices we make for tomorrow.
Role Scope
As Principal IT Product Lead, you orchestrate and elevate the strategic and tactical side of IT product and journey development within Odido, helping Senior- and IT Product Leads deliver complex initiatives that stay aligned with our broader objectives and architecture direction. You’re the person who brings cohesion when multiple teams and disciplines need to move together – business, operations, network and engineering – so that decisions are understood, trade-offs are explicit, and delivery becomes sustainable.
In this scope your focus is end-to-end: shaping the design and roadmap for front-end sales journeys and service journeys, while keeping the full stack in view, including front end, back end and the billing services that power the experience. You’ll work closely with stakeholders in marketing, propositions and customer operations, not to “out-argue” them, but to translate ambitions into pragmatic designs that are clear, simple and buildable. The aim is not to add complexity, but to make the IT architecture simpler over time, in line with our architecture strategy and ongoing IT transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide architectural guidance to IT Product Leads and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture
- Shape and align end-to-end roadmap and solution direction across sales and service journeys (full stack, incl. Billing services)
- Validate cross-team deliverables and ensure cohesive solution design
- Strengthen collaboration between business, operations, network and engineering to surface needs and challenges
- Devise technical solutions aligned with strategy, priorities and budget
- Act as communicator/mediator and make decisions when teams can’t reach agreement
- Contribute to a forward-looking tactical/strategic outlook (1.5–5 years) together with architecture and engineering leadership
About the Team
You’ll be part of a cross‑functional, cross‑journey environment where collaboration between technical and non‑technical stakeholders is essential. The team values openness, craftsmanship and is simplifying architecture while continuing to deliver for customers.
