Senior Business Planner

In this role, you will play a critical part in shaping and executing data-driven planning strategies that ensure the right products reach the right customers at the right time. By combining analytical expertise with strong cross-functional collaboration, you will help drive accurate forecasting, optimize commercial performance, and support both short- and long-term business objectives. 
Key Responsibilities;

• Manage end-to-end demand and supply planning processes to ensure efficient product distribution to customers
• Lead the design and execution of the commercial plan to drive Sport-by-channel growth aligned with the 6 Season Planning Rolling Forecast (PRF), ensuring strong distribution strategies, margin optimization, and a consumer-first mindset.
• Develop and implement commercial strategies to enhance in-season performance and overall marketplace health by leveraging data-driven insights and business analytics.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate operating plans into actionable strategies that guide investment, buying, and allocation decisions in support of channel and sport growth objectives.
• Identify and clearly communicate risks and opportunities impacting financial targets, ensuring proactive decision-making and mitigation strategies.
• Lead Operating Plan and Assortment Plan reviews with cross-functional stakeholders, driving alignment, accountability, and continuous forecast refinement.
• Define and validate key planning assumptions, including POS data, marketplace growth/share expectations, distribution strategies, and product potential, ensuring accuracy and transparency in forecasting.
• Monitor in-season performance against the operating plan and proactively recommend course corrections to optimize financial and commercial outcomes.
• Reconcile in-season assortment plans with rolling forecasts and supply plans to ensure alignment across demand, supply, and financial targets.

RequirementsWhat You Bring:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or a related analytical role
• Strong proficiency in statistical analysis, forecasting models, and data interpretation
• Deep understanding of planning processes, financial drivers, and supply chain dynamics
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
• Proven ability to collaborate and influence cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail
• Proactive mindset with the ability to identify risks and opportunities and propose actionable solutions
• High level of ownership, accountability, and commitment to delivering results
