As our Senior Contract Manager, you’ll be a key strategic partner within our project teams, driving clarity, reducing risk and ensuring we deliver profitable and successful outcomes.
In this role, you’ll work at the heart of dynamic, large‑scale projects across Europe, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and helping us achieve excellence in execution.
Your responsibilities- Lead contract management for large and complex EPC projects within Europe.
- Drive the claims process end‑to‑end: identifying, preparing, positioning, and resolving claims.
- Safeguard project performance by proactively managing contractual obligations, entitlements, and risks.
- Provide strategic contractual guidance to project teams, enabling informed decisions and strong commercial control.
- Manage the full lifecycle of contract administration — including commercial governance, reporting, and risk monitoring.
- Lead negotiations with clients and subcontractors to ensure fair and strategic outcomes.
- Translate complex contract terms into practical processes for operational teams.
- Prepare documentation and provide support when arbitration or litigation becomes necessary.
- Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Legal, Procurement, and Finance to ensure alignment and commercial excellence.
You are a strategic, analytically strong contract professional with the ability to navigate complexity and maintain oversight in high‑pressure environments. You bring clear communication, a proactive mindset, and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
To be successful in this senior role, you must have:
- Proven experience managing large, high‑value EPC projects within Europe.
- A deep understanding of European legislation related to construction and contracting (significantly different from non‑European jurisdictions).
- Demonstrated experience with EoT, prolongation, and disruption claims (e.g. Bouwvertraging en stagnatie volgens UAV 2012).
- Strong knowledge of UAV 2012 and Dutch civil law (Burgerlijk Wetboek, incl. Boek 7).
- Experience preparing or supporting arbitration and litigation processes.
- Strong familiarity with contract frameworks such as FIDIC and/or NEC.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Fluency in Dutch (required due to project portfolio, including Schiphol‑related work).

This position offers a competitive salary range of €6.475,00 to €7.680,00 gross per month (excluding 8% holiday allowance). Exceptional performance may allow growth beyond this scale.
