The RoleAs our Associate Product Manager - Licensed, you will support the Product Manager across all stages of the product creation process, helping to drive the operational execution of product programmes. Acting as a key communication relay within cross-functional teams, you will assist in planning, coordinating, and tracking product projects for the assigned category. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations through clear cross-functional communication, accurate product data management, and consistent follow-up on key actions to support timely delivery.
Who will you work with?You will report to the Product Manager - Licensed.
You will be part of the Promo/Team/Licensed Product & Merchandising team who is responsible for managing the planning, development and delivery of apparel and equipment product lines commercialised through Direct and Partners channels. In this role you will be supporting several categories: Nike Promo Services, Nike Event Projects, Licensed Post-Embellishment and various Licensed projects. You will work closely with the following functional areas: Design, Development, Sourcing/Operations, Marketplace Management and Sports Marketing.
What will you be responsible for?- Support the Product Manager with line planning, data management (system setup & maintenance), product brief creation for assigned projects
- Support day-to-day operational management and tracking of assigned projects
- Partner with cross-functional teams & external stakeholders to ensure projects stay on track and key milestones are delivered on time
- Share project progress and product updates in a clear and structured manner with all relevant functional teams, acting as a central communication liaison across departments
- Monitor and manage product data, ensuring accuracy and consistency in information management systems and databases in collaboration with the Product Information Analyst
- Attend internal meetings, capturing key notes, documenting action items, and coordinating follow-ups
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; or 2 additional years' experience in lieu of a degree
- 2 years' relevant experience in product-related roles
- Ability to foster and maintain relationships with different functional teams
- Basic understanding of product construction and components
- Experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented team environment
- Ability to manage multiple product creation timelines simultaneously
- Exceptional organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient information-seeking skills and a drive for results
- Experience with Microsoft Office and Outlook
