Accelerate - Trading

Join IMC Accelerate, a 2-day in-office programme designed for ambitious students from the Netherlands, Germany, and Belgium, graduating in 2026 or 2027. Accelerate offers an immersive introduction to IMC, combining trading and technology challenges with real exposure to how we operate as a global trading firm.

The programme will take place at our Amsterdam office on June 2nd & 3rd, with an additional social activity planned on June 1st to get to know your fellow participants and experience Amsterdam together. This programme focuses on students interested in (Quantitative) Trading roles at IMC.

• Hands-on experience Work on interactive trading and technology-based challenges that reflect how decisions are made at IMC. You’ll gain practical insight into our way of thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
• Learn from IMC professionals Connect with IMC traders, engineers, and recruiters who will share their experiences, career paths, and day-to-day work at the firm.
• Realistic IMC environment Experience our culture firsthand by working from our Amsterdam office, collaborating in small groups, and engaging directly with IMC teams.
• Networking & Amsterdam experience Get to know other top students from Dutch, German or Belgian universities, explore Amsterdam, and build connections that last beyond the programme.
• Strong performers may be fast-tracked in the interview process for IMC’s Graduate roles. Please use these prep guides to prepare for your interview.

• Studying a quantitative or technical degree such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, Econometrics, or a related field
• Enrolled at a university in the Netherlands, Germany, or Belgium
• Graduating in 2026 or 2027
• Interested in trading, technology, and solving complex problems
• Able to travel to Amsterdam from June 1st and participate in the programme on June 2nd and 3rd
• We recruit on a rolling basis, so we recommend applying early. Applications close on April 20th
• Technical screening calls for this programme will take place on weekdays during the week commencing April 28th, with available time slots between 10:00 and 17:00 CET

Our recruitment cycle runs on a seasonal basis beginning in September. Candidates who have applied to either the Trader Intern or Graduate Trader roles during the current season are not eligible to apply to other IMC programmes within the same cycle.
