Tasks
Your strong knowledge and experience in the utilities sector, combined with our tailored training programs to further deepen your expertise, enable you to support industry clients in analysing and optimising their strategies.
You provide expert advice and develop tailored solutions, ensuring compliance while driving efficiency and value. Additionally, you contribute to the further growth of Valcon by participating in business development activities and fostering a collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
Among your responsibilities will be the following:
- Driving impactful business transformations, ensuring high-quality execution from strategy to acceptance within the organization;
- Leading projects and ensuring effective collaboration among multi-disciplinary team members;
- Building strong relationships with key stakeholders at new and existing clients and aligning with their organizational objectives;
- Managing and guiding consultants on projects and in their personal development;
- Building and promoting Valcon with a focus on the Utilities industry.
Requirements
- A completed academic degree in a relevant field;
- Solid experience in the Utilities industry, with a strong understanding of energy sector regulations and market trends;
- Proven track record for project management tasks in the Utilities industry;
- For managerial level: strong leadership skills in managing teams, providing guidance and support to junior colleagues and mentoring to help develop their skills and knowledge;
- Broad affinity with data-driven optimization and technological innovation;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with experience in building and maintaining lasting client relationships;
- Willingness to travel to client locations throughout the Netherlands, if required;
- You're fluent in both Dutch and English.
