Senior QA Officer

The position

As Senior Quality Officer, you will be part of the QESHS team working for both the Dutch and overseas sites. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to join our Quality Department in Alkmaar.

What will you do?

• Engage with customers to understand quality expectations and ensure our products consistently meet and exceed these standards.
• Safeguard and continuously improve food safety, product quality and regulatory compliance throughout the supply chain.
• Prepare and support internal and external audits, including GMP+.
• Ensure proper identification, investigation and effective closure of deviations, complaints, CAPAs and root cause analyses.
• Respond to complex QA-related questions from customers and internal stakeholders with clarity and authority.

What do you bring?

• MBO/NLQ4/HBO or academic in Food technology or a related field;
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within the food industry
• Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions under pressure;
• Strong knowledge of food/ feed safety standards (IFS, BRC, GMP+) and regulations;
• Fluent in English and at least basic Dutch;
• Living in the Alkmaar region.
