Software Engineer (Java/Kotlin/Scala)

We are a challenging organisation with self-managing developers. We work in small teams on projects for our customers, when possible from their location or from our own offices. We are not a traditional service company, as Lunatechies work in teams and are not send alone on customer projects.

We develop custom-made software systems, mainly for systems integration, machine learning, big data projects, and backend solutions. Our skill set lies on the JVM, focusing on Java, Kotlin and Scala.

We are also involved in AI, cloud computing, machine learning, etc. Next to that, we are keen on new developments. We are not specialised in one specific technology, but always aiming to offer the best solution for our customers' requirements.

We are active in the Open Source community; we have conference speakers, published book authors, certified trainers. We sponsor conferences (Devoxx, KotlinConf, ScalaDays, etc...), are a NLJUG member and we host several Meetups in our offices from time to time.

• You have min. 3 years of experience as a software engineer, with a strong focus on JVM development.

• You hold a Bachelor's degree (BSc) in Computer Science or a related field.

• You are based in Europe and eligible to work in the EU.

• You are a fast learner, passionate about technology, and eager to grow both personally and professionally.

• You have strong communication skills and can effectively collaborate with both customers and colleagues.

• You strive to deliver high-quality solutions and take pride in your work.
