Jr Project Engineer -Packaging & Filling

At Kraft Heinz Elst, we combine innovation, automation, and food quality to produce products loved worldwide. We are looking for a Junior Project Engineer to support engineering projects within our packaging and filling operations. This role offers hands‑on experience in our factory and the opportunity to contribute to impactful improvement projects while learning from experienced engineers.

• Support planning and execution of packaging & filling engineering projects.
• Coordinate activities, timelines, and project deliverables with senior engineers.
• Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, and line optimization.
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates.
• Support quality, safety, and food industry compliance standards.
• Collaborate with production, maintenance, and external vendors.
• Review technical drawings and P&ID diagrams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Food or related).
• Internship or project experience in engineering preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience in packaging & filling or the food industry is a strong advantage.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and understand industrial processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English (Dutch is a strong advantage).
