If you're passionate about solving real challenges and creating tangible outcomes, then this is the perfect opportunity for you! With your proactive mindset and technical curiosity, you're perfectly positioned to help shape Rewire’s internal technology foundation.
We’re on a mission to grow Rewire’s business by leaps and bounds, and we’re looking for a Platform Engineer to help us reach our goals. You’ll work at the heart of our internal IT landscape, supporting employees, automating operations, and building scalable, secure systems that enable our engineers and consultants to do their best work, from standard office automation to support setting up AI-powered productivity tooling.
You’ll start close to operations and grow toward system design and architecture, while working alongside experienced Cloud Engineers to continuously improve our internal platforms.
Be part of a dynamic team of data & AI talents who tackle meaningful challenges, build smart solutions, and have fun along the way. Wanna join the ride?
Where you’ll make a differenceOwn and operate Rewire’s internal IT landscape – manage and improve Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and Defender
Be the first line of support for internal employees – resolve issues efficiently
Automate internal operations – build self-service solutions, scripting workflows, and permission models that scale
Manage end-user hardware – oversee Windows and macOS devices, hardware inventory across offices
Design and enforce best practices within the company’s landscape – on topics such as access models, backup & recovery, logging, PIM & PAM tooling
Collaborate with Cloud & Platform Engineers – grow your architectural skills by working on shared infrastructure, CI/CD integrations, and AWS-connected systems
Step into a role with real ownership and autonomy, where you don’t just follow tickets but actively improve how things work
Grow from operations into system design and architecture, with clear development paths toward other development roles
Work with modern tooling across all the major Cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), Microsoft 365, CI/CD, and automation, while learning directly from senior engineers
Develop an automation-first mindset– if something is manual today, you’ll be expected to make it better tomorrow
Thrive in a culture that values clear communication, initiative, and continuous improvement – where your voice matters, and your ideas turn into impactful solutions that are recognized and rewarded
Join a vibrant, multidisciplinary team that’s ambitious, collaborative, and just the right amount of nerdy – where learning and laughter go hand in hand

A Master’s degree with excellent results in a quantitative or STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Informatics, or other engineering or technical disciplines)
1-3 years of practical experience in IT operations, system engineering, or a similar role, with hands‑on experience in the Microsoft ecosystem (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, Defender, Cloud Apps) and managing Windows and macOS devices using tools such as Intune, Jamf, or similar
Scripting skills in PowerShell, Bash/Shell, or Linux, with Python as a plus, and familiarity with cloud concepts, GitLab, and basic CI/CD concepts
Understanding of permissions, IAM, SSO, and least‑privilege security models, as well as basic knowledge of Terraform, networking concepts, and REST APIs
A hands‑on, growth mindset – you take ownership of your work, embrace challenges, and dive confidently into new platform technologies or complex technical problems
Effective communication skills and a collaborative spirit – you enjoy working in teams, explaining technical concepts clearly, and supporting a positive, inclusive work environment

In their own words“Working as a cloud engineer at Rewire means taking ideas and shaping them into reliable, scalable cloud platforms. I move from designing architectures and trying out new approaches to building and running them in production. The variety in this work keeps things challenging and allows me to continuously grow as an engineer. Alongside client projects, we also develop and refine internal cloud automations, always looking for smarter and more efficient ways to work. And best of all, I get to do this with a great group of people!” – Thomas Bennis, Senior Cloud Engineer at Rewire
