Process Engineer

You are responsible for optimizing and continuously improving the processes for the customer for whom we manage logistics operations. Your responsibilities include:

• Driving process improvements and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and quality
• Analyzing operational results to spot trends, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities
• Engaging with colleagues on the shop floor to gain insight into daily operations and challenges
• Translating insights into concrete actions, implementing improvements, and adjusting processes where needed
• Building cases and developing business cases to support decisions and advise both the customer and management
• Developing and maintaining reporting tools to support data driven decision making
• Reporting directly to the Operations Manager and supporting in strategic and operational developments

You understand warehouse operations: practical, solution oriented, and not afraid to take initiative. With your sharp eye for processes and systems, you easily spot improvement opportunities and take action on them. You are eager to learn, enjoy working with data, and translate your findings into practical solutions.

Additionally, you bring:

• Experience in warehousing at troubleshoot or team lead level
• A down to earth, confident approach and strong problem solving skills
• Excellent command of the English language; Dutch is a plus
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Office
• Affinity with IT systems or knowledge of (IT) processes, especially related to warehouse and reporting systems
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel; knowledge of MS Access or Power BI is preferred
• A proactive mindset and the drive to continuously learn and grow
