Department: Bus Division/Tender DepartmentThe Technical Tender & Project Interface Manager (Europe) acts as a key technical and coordination interface between the European commercial teams and the PRC manufacturing and engineering departments. The role is responsible for analyzing technical tenders, translating customer and regulatory requirements into feasible technical solutions, and coordinating with internal engineering teams in China to ensure compliant, competitive, and executable project proposals.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the technical focal point for European tenders and projects, with particular focus on intercity and coach bus applications.
- Analyze and interpret technical tender documentation, specifications, and contractual technical requirements.
- Translate European customer, regulatory, and operational requirements into clear technical inputs for PRC factory engineering teams.
- Coordinate cross-functional technical discussions with R&D, manufacturing, quality, homologation, procurement, and aftersales teams in China.
- Consolidate technical solutions and ensure alignment between commercial commitments and technical feasibility.
- Support the European sales and project teams during tender clarification phases, technical meetings and negotiations.
- Ensure technical consistency across proposals in terms of product configuration, compliance, warranty, and service scope.
- Review and summarize technical requirements from tenders, RFQs, and customer specifications.
- Identify technical gaps, risks, and constraints, and proactively propose solution-oriented alternatives.
- Prepare and coordinate technical documentation, including compliance matrices, technical descriptions, drawings, and data sheets.
- Organize and lead technical alignment meetings between Europe and PRC engineering teams.
- Track open technical topics and ensure timely closure to meet tender and project deadlines.
- Support internal decision-making by providing technical feasibility assessments and risk evaluations.
- Assist during project handover from sales to execution, ensuring continuity of technical information.
- Maintain structured communication and documentation flow between European teams and PRC factories.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Automotive, or related fields).
- 5–10 years of experience in technical tendering, engineering coordination, project support, or similar roles within buses, automotive, rail, or complex industrial products.
- Proven experience in reading and managing technical tenders and customer specifications.
- Strong ability to coordinate with multiple engineering departments in a manufacturing environment.
- Solid understanding of vehicle systems, customization logic, and industrial constraints.
- Fluent English is mandatory; Chinese (Mandarin) is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-cultural, multinational environment.

- Willingness to travel internationally when required.
