In order to strengthen its Finance department it’s seeking to attract a Director Accounting & Control EMEA who will be instrumental in shaping the future of the Accounting & Control discipline in a complex international environment. He/she will be reporting into the CFO EMEA/APAC.
Positie- Lead and develop local accounting & control teams in EMEA
- Responsible for accurate monthly and annual close processes for all EMEA
entities - Lead internal and external audit processes
- Manage balance sheet integrity
- Develop, maintain and improve internal control environment
- Ensure compliance with group and statutory accounting & tax principles
- Identify, assess and mitigate financials risks
- Drive collaboration across countries, build shares services where possible and build strong connection with Aalberts HQ finance team
- Lead automation and digital transformation initiatives within accounting & control (ERP, BI)
- Improve efficiency and drive uniform closing, reporting and compliance
processes - Ask a key stakeholder for ERP deployments and finance systems optimization
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting, finance or controlling or
equivalent - 10-15 years of relevant experience, including leadership roles in accounting & control experience in complex multinational environment with regional scope
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems and BI tools
- Experience in finance transformation is a preference
- Result‑driven and solid decision making skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
