We are looking for an experienced DevOps engineer who excels at creating and deploying exceptional quality applications to join our Journey to Cloud tribe at SWIFT, the tribe responsible for driving the adoption of Alliance Cloud as the customer default of utilising our SWIFT platform.

You will be working as a member of a dynamic team that is responsible for end-to-end delivery – from customer requirements to operations.

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 3 years of experience as DevOps Engineeror similar role.
• Autonomous, empowered with the ability to drive, adapt and respond to change.
• Customer oriented and quality mindset.
• Open-minded, solutions oriented, and a team player.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Fluent in English(spoken and written), and strongcommunication skillsto effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, across all levels and transversally .
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experience inAgileway of working is an asset.

Experience

• Knowledge oflarge-scale distributed application frameworks(Kafka, Zookeeper).
• Knowledge ofLinuxOS (RedHat).
• Knowledge of continuous delivery process and technologies (Cloudbees, GIT, Maven, Jira, Docker, Kubernetes, Kibana, OpenShift, Ansible, ArgoCD).
• Knowledge of databases (Elastic Search, Oracle, JDBC, H2, JPA) and data modelling.
• Knowledge of SSL/TLS, HTTP/S, XML (schema, XSLT), Python
• Familiar with Java related development and ability to work with Java developers.
• Knowledge of HashiCorp Vault is a plus.

Key Responsibilities

• You will design/maintain our DevOps pipeline using proven technologies, such as Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Ansible, ArgoCDto bring 24/7 availability and resiliency to our customers.
• You will work on an application distributed across multiple data centers, with an architecture based on micro-services and synchronous replication.
• You will have the opportunity to develop yourself and others as DevOps engineer, covering software architecture, development, quality assurance, deployment and security.
• You will work in a truly international environment with main hubs across 3 continents
• You will ensure data integrity and security by implementing proper data validation and access controls.
• You will participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• You will prepare, test, present for review and execute changes in Production (requires physical presence in the office at least 2 days/week).
• You will perform changes in Production outside business hours when required (about once/month).
• You will stay up to date with the latest DevOps technologies, tools, and trends to suggest improvements and drive innovation.
