Senior Frontend Engineer

At ABN AMRO Core Transactions we are looking for a Senior Front-End Engineer who is passionate about payments. Our systems are a key part of the stability of the bank. As a Frontend Engineer in our Core Transactions grid, you help shape ABN AMRO’s ambition to be a personal bank in a digital age. Together with your interdisciplinary DevOps team (FE, APP, BE), you work on developing and maintaining high‑traffic, Azure‑hosted applications that support the bank’s critical payment processes. You collaborate closely with other teams, ensure smooth integration across systems, and take responsibility for the full lifecycle of your components. You also handle incidents and ensure timely resolution within SLAs, contributing directly to the stability and reliability of our payment landscape.

At ABN AMRO’s Core Transactions grid, we play a central role in driving innovation and supporting the growth strategy of Personal & Business Banking. Our mission is to ensure the efficient and secure processing of payments and transfers across the entire payment chain. We continuously optimize transaction processes, covering everything from daily operational management and fraud prevention to compliance, system improvements, and overall reliability. • Excellent salary. You are hired in ABN AMRO-scale 10. Classification is based on your experience, skills and a benchmark among colleagues (equal pay). We currently have several openings for this position across different teams within our Core Transactions grid, giving us the change ti see which team suits you the best.
• 25 vacation days based on 40 hours (with an optional 14 days extra)
• Personal development budget of € 1,000.00 per year (next to training to keep your knowledge and certifications up to date)
