Opportunities to join a company at ‘Exactly the right time’ do not come up often. This is one of them. We are currently recruiting our very first Senior Quality Assurance Engineer to expand our quality team!
The team is composed by four team members, including the Quality Manager, whom you will report to. Quality does not look only at the results – it’s about asking the right questions up front so teams can move faster with confidence.
In this role, you will act as a quality coach and partner to cross-functional teams, ensuring quality processes are applied correctly, risks are identified early, and customer and compliance requirements are met. You will work alongside Project Management to closely review and monitor the plans for NPI and Development teams.
You will get involved and play an integral role driving our company to the next phase of growth, as we are ramping up volume production!
Job Tasks- Establish and maintain Quality Assurance processes within R&D, NPI and production
- Act as a Quality coach, supporting teams to apply QMS processes & correct use of Quality tools, and good documentation practices;
- Drive Continuous Improvement initiatives using Six Sigma, (DMAIC and/or DFSS) methodologies to improve process capability, efficiency, and quality outcomes;
- Participate in core team meetings and support multiple projects simultaneously with focused, targeted contributions;
- Facilitate Change control
- Support & facilitate Internal & External (customer) audits against applicable requirements like ISO 9001;
- Coordinate and moderate risk assessment using Design and Process FMEA’s, Manufacturing Control Plans and Statistical Process Control (SPC) with relevant stakeholders;
- Lead and facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (8D)
- Support in Maintaining the Business Quality Management System to meet ISO9001 and other customer specific requirements;
- A Master degree in a relevant technical field;
- Extensiveexperience in a similar role within the semiconductor, automotive, MedTech or related highly regulated industry;
- Previous work experience in Process Engineering and/or Development is a plus;
- Experienced in Six Sigma DMAIC, DFSS,;
- Knowledge of Quality Tools usage, such as FMEA, CAPA and 8D and problem solving techniques;
- Experienced in implementing quality management systems such as ISO9001, as well as Change control and traceability in documentation;
