About us:
We are Publitas! We’re a remote-first, fast-growing SaaS company helping brands turn static content into digital discovery experiences that drive results.
We’re not about busywork, hierarchy, or hand-holding. We hire sharp minds, trust them fully, and measure success by real results, not noise. If you thrive in autonomy, challenge, and high ownership, you’ll love it here.
About the role:Publitas is strengthening delivery and operations across the Product organization. Strategy is ahead of delivery—and we’re fixing that.
As Director of Product Delivery, you own the execution system of the Product Org: turning strategic intent into predictable, high-quality shipping across squads. You run the “engine room” that makes commitments real—through capacity truth, WIP discipline, dependency control, and ruthless follow-through.
You won’t “project manage.” You will build and enforce the operating conditions that make delivery reliable and scalable.
You’ll likely have experience with:- Running product delivery / product operations / program execution in B2B SaaS
- Leading multi-squad delivery cadence (planning, governance, readiness gates, release coordination)
- Managing cross-squad and cross-functional dependencies (Product, Engineering, Design, Support/CS)
- Capacity planning, WIP control, and interrupt management (optimizing for throughput and stability—not busyness)
- Clear, high-signal communication (written and verbal) and strong documentation habits
- Systems thinking (constraints, flow, tradeoffs) plus the ability to operate day-to-day
- High standards for clarity: problem statements, scope discipline, success metrics, release readiness
- A bias for action, accountability, and raising the execution bar—without creating bureaucracy
- Experience working in a Product/Engineering/Design triad model
- Familiarity with Lean/Flow metrics (cycle time, throughput, WIP, change failure rate)
- Experience rebuilding a delivery system from low predictability to reliable shipping
- Get excited by taking ownership and figuring things out proactively
- Thrive in a remote, async, fast-paced environment
- Are striving to deliver impact, not just running tasks
- Think in systems but execute with creativity
- Are direct, collaborative, and have a growth mindset
- Need layers of process or someone to constantly tell you what to do
- Prefer “business as usual” over change
- Want a team where mediocre is okay
- Have never worked remotely and think async means “lonely”
- Are waiting for permission instead of taking initiative
- Execution governance & roadmap reliability
- Own the “Now” and “Next” horizons of execution—ensuring delivery commitments are credible and tracked.
- Monitor delivery health continuously: blockers, slippage risk, silent delays, and stalled initiatives.
- Maintain a high Say/Do ratio by forcing early decisions (de-scope, re-sequence, pause) instead of late surprises.
- Own the roadmap delivery system end-to-end (intake → discovery → build → launch → measure)
- Own the system end-to-end: governance, readiness gates, handoffs, release discipline, and follow-through.
- Ensure initiatives are translated into shippable milestones with realistic timelines and clear ownership.
- Clarify ownership boundaries: PMs decide the “what” within scope; PMs/Designers run discovery execution; Delivery ensures outputs meet readiness standards before build.
- Product Operating System & process excellence
- Build and enforce execution standards (rituals, hygiene, templates, readiness, definition of done).
- Block work entering build that isn’t ready (problem clarity, scope discipline, success metrics, release plan).
- Run rigorous retros and implement changes that reduce cycle time and eliminate recurring failure modes.
- Capacity truth, utilization & WIP control
- Maintain a living view of capacity allocation by squad/track (delivery vs discovery vs interrupts).
- Optimize utilization for throughput (not busyness): reduce WIP, context switching, and unmanaged interrupt load.
- When capacity is the limiter, surface constraints early and present clear tradeoff options to leadership.
- Cross-functional delivery alignment (Engineering + Design + Support/CS)
- Partner tightly with Engineering and Design leadership to resolve resource bottlenecks, sequencing conflicts, and dependency issues.
- Ensure squads operate with effective triad collaboration and cross-squad integration is managed deliberately.
- Build release readiness beyond code: enablement, documentation, internal readiness with Support/CS.
- PM execution standards & coaching (delivery excellence)
- Set execution standards and coach PMs on delivery excellence, planning discipline, dependency management, and stakeholder communication.
- Raise the bar on backlog clarity and milestone discipline.
- Ensure escalations end in decisions, not discussions.
- Release readiness, quality outcomes, and post-launch follow-through
- Improve release outcomes by enforcing readiness discipline (DoR/DoD, dependency control, realistic commitments).
- Engineering owns technical quality and implementation standards; you own the delivery conditions that enable quality outcomes.
- Enforce the post-launch loop: measurement, learning summary, and next actions—allocating capacity so follow-through doesn’t get sacrificed.

We don’t ask for CVs or cover letters. Why? Because they rarely tell us who you are or what you’re truly great at.
Instead, we ask smart questions and give you a chance to show us what you’d bring to the role.
No fluff. Just real insight into what it’s like to work together.
