Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Java / Groovy Developer with experience working in modern DevOps environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building and integrating RESTful APIs, managing CI/CD pipelines, and supporting system observability and performance through monitoring tools. This role involves close collaboration within agile teams and a strong focus on quality, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities Development & Technical Delivery- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Java and Groovy.
- Build, integrate, and test RESTful APIs to support scalable system interactions.
- Configure, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using Git-based workflows.
- Perform feature development, enhancements, bug fixes, and technical optimizations.
- Conduct technical analysis, feasibility assessments, and contribute to Proof of Concepts (POCs).
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Implement and maintain system monitoring and observability using tools such as Grafana.
- Track system metrics and performance indicators to ensure platform stability and reliability.
- Support proactive issue detection and resolution to maintain system health.
- Work closely within agile Scrum teams to understand requirements and deliver agreed outcomes.
- Actively participate in agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth delivery and alignment.
- Provide clear and timely status updates to team members and leadership.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, quality benchmarks, and best practices.
- Contribute ideas to improve development processes, tools, and delivery efficiency.
- Stay current with relevant technologies, frameworks, and DevOps practices to enhance productivity.
