• Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.
• Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

• At least 5 years of experience developing and integrating multiple interfaces across diverse technical domains.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Lead Developer role, guiding and mentoring development teams.
• Design, develop, customize, configure, test, and deploy Java-based enterprise applications.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems by analyzing business requirements, identifying improvement areas, and implementing effective solutions.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver large-scale, complex software solutions.
• Lead development activities, manage defect tracking, and resolve system issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare and maintain technical specifications, design documents, and test plans.
• Monitor day-to-day system operations and provide production and application support.
• Continuously research and adopt new technologies and development practices to improve system quality and efficiency.
• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Native-level fluency in Dutch, both spoken and written.
• Minimum 5 years of experience developing large, complex Java-based systems in an n-tier architecture, using technologies such as: Java, Linux, Tibco EMS, Maven, Oracle Database, Ansible, Splunk, SonarQube, React, Angular
• Professional Java certification; Oracle certification is highly preferred.
• Strong expertise in object-oriented design, solution design patterns, and best practices (e.g., SOA / MVC architectures).
• Solid experience in database design and development, particularly Oracle.
• Experience with web services, service-oriented architecture, and MVC frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines, including Git, Jenkins, or Bamboo.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
