Job SummaryIn this role, you will develop, program, test, and validate PLC software for industrial automation systems. Collaborating closely with engineering teams, you support the design and implementation of reliable and efficient control solutions that advance sustainability in the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and program PLC software for industrial automation
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of PLC systems
- Create and maintain documentation for PLC programs
- Collaborate on code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Apply engineering principles to design, adapt, and improve PLC applications
- Participate in R&D activities and technical reporting
- Implement reliability analysis in software design and testing
- Use company-specific tools for drawing and document control
- Bachelor's or diploma degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt in dynamic technical environments
- Basic technical skills in industrial software development, hardware/software interfacing, testing, and debugging
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Team player with a passion for software development and practical engineering solutions
- Eagerness to learn and innovate
- Experience with mechatronic systems and industrial automation protocols (ModBUS, CanBUS, ProfiBUS, OPC UA)
- Minimum of 2 years experience with PLC programming environments like CodeSys, PLCNext Engineer, Siemens S7
- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git, Mercurial, or SVN
- Programming skills in Python or shell scripting
- 3200-5500 euro gross a month
