What you are going to do
As Jr. Project Manager you will directly support and work together with our Project- and Program Managers in multi-disciplinary change initiatives in areas such as Finance Strategy, Process Optimization & Redesign, Finance Transformation, IT/system implementation, Mergers & Acquisitions and Regulatory implementations. You will have a critical role in ensuring effective and efficient change execution and will act as the trusted go-to person in terms of project management support and central project oversight to ensure all projects realize the desired benefits within time and budget.
You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end delivery of our change initiatives, from initiation (analysing current core finance processes; understanding business context & translate to tangible outcomes & deliverables; preparing workshops with content experts) to project delivery (milestone planning; alignment with key stakeholders; status reporting; monitoring of key risks, issues and dependencies; insight in project financials and business cases), besides picking up your own (sub-) projects.
Other responsibilities are:
- Support delivery of larger programs and own (smaller scale) projects or workstreams across Group Finance within scope and time
- Act as the vital link between Business, IT, and other stakeholders and proactively liaise to align on deliverables and actionable next steps
- Produce management information including scenario analysis, impact analysis and documents that are 'for decision' and organize Steering Committees
- Proactively contribute solutions, deliver insights for challenges and support driving decision making to achieve strategic objectives
Who you are
We are looking for someone with Project Management skills and 2-3 years' experience in supporting project execution and delivering PMO tasks, with experience in the field of Finance. You have a proactive attitude, you have a natural talent for stakeholder management and building relationship across departments, you thrive when working on complex topics and know how to align diverse interest towards a common goal, you are a self-starter who takes ownership and likes to analyse, solve problems and deliver.
Next to the above you:
- Are convincing, a critical thinker and can adapt a story to different audiences
- Have a high learning agility, meaning you can easily adapt and absorb new information in a changing environment
- Have a Prince2, Agile certification or the ambition to get these
- Are a strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and/or English
- Have a relevant University Degree; preferably a degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Business & IT or similar
Who you will work with
You will be part of our pool of Project & Change management experts within the Strategy & Transformation team, in a dynamic environment within a diverse team of Finance and change professionals with which you will work on a daily basis. You will be supported in taking the lead in designing your own career path, by helping you to build content expertise in a specific or a variety of Finance domains and/or to develop yourself towards a Project/Program Manager role in the future.
