Job Summary:Supermicro B.V. Is seeking an experienced Sr. Product Engineer with strong background in server architecture and take ownership in its product development. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge in the market trend and partner with Product Manager to define product vision and strategy for server/system products. The candidate will also work with cross‑functional engineering teams to perform new product development, test, validate, and fine‑tuned to maximize the efficiency and durability of the product.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Maintaining and supporting various GPU and Mainstream server products
- Leverage strong technical background to create technical product requirements for cloud/data center infrastructure solutions based on customer requirements, industry trends and business requirements
- Escalate critical issues to high level management and vendors for solution as needed
- Develop training sessions to ensure sales awareness on Supermicro system solution offering
- Provide 3rd level customer support to both internal and external as needed
- Maintaining infrastructure for EMEA Customer PoC Lab
- Setup Proof‑of‑Concept for customer and providing support during testing period
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline or equivalent work experience
- Server hardware knowledge and hands on work on servers/networking equipment
- 5+ years of Linux/Network administration skills with proven troubleshooting and optimization skills
- Familiar with TCP/IP protocol stack, IPv4-IPv6, DHCP, PXE and other application‑level protocols
- Familiar with HPC, AI, Cloud, and networking architecture (Ethernet/InfiniBand)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, thinking out of the box is a must
- Positive attitude, desire to learn, time management, and strong interpersonal skills are a plus
- Ability to work in a challenging, dynamic, and fast‑paced environment.
- Must be solution‑oriented, a team player with the ability to identify and elevate issues in a timely manner, and be proactive in driving solutions
- Full professional proficiency in English required, additional languages (Dutch, German, Finnish, Polish, France) preferred
- Must be punctual and detail‑oriented
- Must possess an excellent ability to follow‑up on planned actions
- Exceptional communication and presentation skill is a must, able to communicate effectively with customers to promote and provide solutions
- ITIL & ITSM certification
