Together, we are on a purpose-driven journey to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the world through our work in cracking biology. Our mission? Make fruit & vegetables available and affordable to more people in a sustainable way. We work with the best and biggest greenhouse growers in the world. As we deeply value the work growers do, we help them by offering AI products that give them superpowers. Our commitment to the grower's satisfaction fuels our drive for excellence.
Our values are the foundation of our commitment to achieving our mission of empowering growers. Curiosity at our core drives us to explore new possibilities and remain flexible and open. We think and act like owners, taking responsibility and aiming for excellence in all we do. Embracing a shared adventure fosters collaboration and unity, while a growing over comfort mindset ensures we are constantly evolving and improving. Being purpose-driven anchors our actions, ensuring that every effort is aligned with our greater goals. These values are essential, guiding us in our journey and shaping our collective success.
As the Lead Data Scientist of our Control Irrigation team, you will be responsible for setting the modelling vision and ambition for our fertigation models in line with our company and R&D strategy; for preparing the roadmap for your team in collaboration with other departments; and for building with your team performant AI models which help greenhouse growers irrigate optimally every day. You will work closely with our Product and Engineering teams to bring the best product to our customers, as well as with our Operations team and growers to translate their feedback into model improvements for next versions. You will have a team of Data Scientists reporting to you, who you will manage and coach on a daily basis. You will work alongside the other Lead Scientists of Source, and report to our VP of Science.
