Your.Online was founded by experienced entrepreneurs in domain services, web hosting, and security & trust services. The group is backed by Strikwerda Investments, a leading Dutch family office specializing in IT investments. This shareholder structure ensures continuous access to capital for both organic and inorganic growth acceleration.

The Start
Your.Online was formed by a group of seasoned domain and web hosting entrepreneurs, brought together by Strikwerda Investments . Realhosting was the first to join, soon followed by platform company Yourhosting , a top 3 player in The Netherlands, and Versio, one of the country’s fastest-growing web hosting providers, laying a strong foundation.

Scaling
Rapid growth made Your.Online the market leader in The Netherlands. Expanding its services, the group welcomed Savvii , Europe’s first Managed WordPress hosting provider. Many more companies joined, including PCextreme, which became the technical backbone of the organization. This phase cemented Your.Online’s position as a powerhouse in web hosting and domains.

Exploring
Your.Online took its first step beyond Dutch borders with the acquisition of Axarnet . As a growing player in Spain, Axarnet had already made some acquisitions. Seeking a partner with buy-and-build expertise to support their growth, they joined Your.Online, accelerating expansion and strengthening the group’s position in the European web hosting and domain market.

Expanding
Your.Online broadened its reach by adding premium managed hosting services to its portfolio. The acquisition of Nexylan in France marked the first step, quickly followed by Shock Media in The Netherlands. This strategic move laid the foundation for a strong performance hosting segment, reinforcing the group’s position in high-end hosting solutions.

Diversification
Your.Online expanded beyond hosting, entering the digital trust market with Reconi , the Dutch market leader in eID services, and by founding the Trust segment to meet the growing need for trust in digital communications. Meanwhile, growth in France accelerated as o2switch , one of Europe’s fastest-growing web hosting companies, joined the group. This phase marked a major step in strengthening both security & digital trust services and international market presence.

A New Era
The merger with Gandi marked a defining moment, officially creating Your.Online. WiseFundaments joined, enhancing the performance segment with digital development and online marketing services. The security and trust division grew with Digitrust and Avensus. Growth continued as Realtime Register , an ICANN-accredited domain management specialist, became part of the group, expanding its global domain expertise.

Global Expansion
A new chapter began as part of Your.World, a leading European powerhouse of web hosting, online productivity, and managed IT services. With the ambition to further accelerate growth, key moves were made across major markets. The first step into Germany came with 1blu , while Heart Internet established a presence in the UK, and Pair marked the entry into the US. These acquisitions have strengthened the group’s position as a global industry leader, and this is just the beginning.

New Markets
The year 2025 marks the beginning of a new phase in Your.Online’s international growth journey. Building on a strong presence in Western Europe, the group has entered the Nordics with the acquisition of Inleed , a high-performing hosting provider in Sweden. The year also saw new partnerships with manitu , in Germany and okITup in Spain, both strong and independent brands that align with Your.Online’s long-term, decentralized model. This phase reflects the ambition to further strengthen European leadership by expanding the network of scalable online businesses.

By sharing knowledge, Realtime Register became a Top 5 registrar worldwide. Gandi developed an international premium DNS solution. Reconi became market leader in total number of customers and customer experience. Firm24 grew to 80% market share, and was supported to move up the supply chain to tackle growth bottlenecks.
