Data Engineering Intern

Metyis is growing! We are looking for a Data Engineering Intern to join our Data and Analytics team, in Amsterdam. As a Data Engineering Intern, you will be involved in turning our clients´ business into a more data-driven one.

• Intensive training from our super skilled Data engineering team on topics like data warehousing, data pipelines, distributed computing using Pyspark, data modelling & data lake.
• Relevant working experience on a live business case.
• Interact with clients regularly to drive their business towards impactful change.
• Play a key role in the team by creating new business solutions via data-driven insights.

• Assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines to extract, transform and load data from various sources.
• Helping with data warehousing and data modelling activities.
• Participating in the creation of data-driven solutions to support business needs.
• Collaborating with data scientists, business analysts and software engineers to understand and implement data requirements.
• Implementing data quality and data governance processes.
• Participating in code reviews and providing constructive feedback.
• Staying up to date with the latest developments in data engineering technologies and best practices.
