- Design, develop, and maintain backend applications that support business-critical and strategic delivery processes.
- Analyze and design application and data architectures to build reliable, scalable solutions.
- Develop high-quality backend code using Kotlin as the primary language, with Java where applicable.
- Take ownership of the team’s codebase, ensuring code quality, stability, and maintainability.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and deployments in a DevOps-oriented way of working.
- Work with containerized environments using Kubernetes.
- 10+ years of overall professional experience as a software engineer.
- Multiple years of hands‑on Kotlin experience.
- Strong experience with Java and backend development frameworks.
- Experience with Spring Boot and Hibernate.
- Solid working knowledge of CI/CD practices in an Azure Cloud environment.
- Experience working with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Working knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL.
- Exposure to Kafka, Grafana, PostgreSQL, and API development is a strong plus.
- Design and build robust, scalable backend systems aligned with business needs.
- Apply DevOps principles to development, deployment, and operations.
- Work effectively in an Agile, fast‑paced environment.
- Translate technical and business requirements into clean, maintainable solutions.
- Continuously improve development practices and adopt new technologies.
- A collaborative Agile Scrum environment with a strong team culture.
