PURPOSE OF THE FUNCTION: Takes any necessary actions to make sure that a product or service will satisfy customer requirements and is the driving force in implementing continuous quality improvement.
MISSION- Identify non-quality factors continuously, conduct or have other departments conduct in-depth analyses and monitor quality improvement plans.
- Identify potential issues before they occur and implement preventive solutions.
- Solve quality manufacturing issues affecting customers quickly and effectively through containment, correction and prevention steps.
- Plan and take any necessary actions to provide adequate confidence/evidence that a product or service will satisfy given contractual/explicit customer requirements.
- Make audits and analyze results as specified by quality systems and methods.
In charge of the Quality of one or several sectors:
- Ensure that the Process Control Plan is applied and consistent with Failure Mode Effect Analysis (Challenge supervisors to identify and manage risks in a preventive mode)
- Lead Process Audits and Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis
- Create and maintain quality control documentation, insure related training and application in the sector • Manage derogations
- Lead continuous improvement on its perimeter
- Lead containment actions, root cause analysis of quality issue and problem solving on his sector
- Be a member of the Short Interval Management of the production lines
- Provide inputs and challenge about quality for new evolution (PMP and Optimize Process (ex PEP) contribute to process/control capability implementation)
- Be the local expert of the assembled products in his sector
- Employee will comply with all quality, environmental, security and safety international standards, in line with business needs (i.e. ISO)
- 5S follow-up and compliance
- Comply with all relevant work instructions and procedures (i.e. Internal auditing/ SPS)
- Part of the Internal auditor community
- Responsible for own development (learning, goal setting …)
- Can have functional management of the quality control employees
- Engineering degree or master’s degree in quality / supply chain / logistics engineering or bachelor (HBO) or at least 3 years of working experience in logistics or quality
- Knowledge of quality and continuous improvement methods and tools: Root cause analysis, Lean 6 sigma Greenbelt, G8D / PRB, FMEA, Process Control plans, Statistical process control (SPC) etc…
- Knowledge of Integrated Management System and ISO-9001 / Internal audit Fluent spoken and written English.
