Senior Packaging Developer

Our client is a global, innovation-driven organization operating in complex manufacturing environments, with a strong focus on sustainability, quality, and product performance across international markets.

As a Senior Packaging Developer, you will be responsible for translating complex technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements into effective and sustainable packaging solutions. You will lead packaging development activities from concept through implementation, working closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure performance, compliance, and cost efficiency across multiple packaging formats.

• Lead packaging development from concept to implementation
• Develop and optimize primary packaging and support secondary/tertiary improvements
• Translate technical, commercial, and regulatory requirements into practical solutions
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers
• Ensure packaging meets quality, compliance, sustainability, and cost objectives

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline
• 8–10 years of experience in packaging development (FMCG/food preferred)
• Strong knowledge of packaging materials, processes, and filling technologies
• Experience with metal packaging is a strong plus
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Fluent in Dutch
