Because you communicate clearly and naturally, you act as the link between crews on board, colleagues on shore, and external suppliers. You report directly to the Fleet Manager for the Rotterdam region and work closely with operations and technical teams.
What you’ll be responsible forSetting up and keeping the technical maintenance plan on track, both short-term and long-term (including OPEX and CAPEX)
Making sure all technical work meets class rules, flag state requirements, and operational needs
Coordinating maintenance activities with the Operations team so plans match reality
Preparing and managing repairs and dry-docking projects from start to finish
Keeping a close eye on spare parts and critical components
Checking the overall technical condition of the tugboats through inspections and follow-up
Making sure technical documentation is accurate, clear, and up to date
Profile What we’re looking for3–5 years of experience in a similar technical role
Solid, up-to-date knowledge of maintenance and technical management systems
Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering of similar
Comfortable communicating in Dutch and/or English
Good skills in MS Office
A genuine connection with the maritime world
