Responsibilities- Lead and manage multiple certification projects from start to finish, including planning, scheduling, and coordination with clients, internal teams, and external laboratories.
- Conduct or supervise hands-on testing, working closely with test engineers to develop and execute test plans.
- Perform on-site testing and inspections at customer locations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Review and evaluate technical documentation to ensure compliance with frameworks such as Metrology Act, MID, Welmec, OIML, and IEC.
- Prepare reports, issue certifications, and maintain records for internal and external stakeholders.
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, providing updates on project status, test results, and certification outcomes.
- Track project progress, anticipate challenges, and implement solutions to maintain schedules and compliance standards.
- Stay up to date with legislation, standards, and industry developments relevant to utilities and metrology.
- Participate in on-the-job training to strengthen technical knowledge and certification expertise.
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
- Experience setting up tests in a lab and reporting on the results
- Strong project management skills, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
- Excellent communication skills in English, additionally either Dutch, German or Mandarin is advantageous
- Proactive, accurate, and passionate about technology
