Your role:We are searching for an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with a robust background in infrastructure. The ideal candidate is well‑versed in data centers, storage technologies, VMware, networking, and operating systems, enabling them to guide and implement the shift from traditional IT environments. Mastery of both current Linux/VMware systems and modern Cloud architectures such as Azure and OpenShift is essential to excel in this pivotal role.
Responsibilities- Implement the new Cloud environment and systematically decommission the existing platform infrastructure.
- Guarantee manageability of the new platform by utilizing standard DevOps tools.
- Ensure that the Azure Cloud environment fully complies with all security standards and requirements.
- Maintain the highest possible availability of all services impacted by the migration process.
- Coordinate and communicate planned activities with all relevant stakeholders in both Business and IT.
- Evaluate and provide comprehensive technical transition documentation for the new Cloud environment.
- Acting as a technical conscience and main point of contact for Azure Cloud issues and tactical decision-making.
- Actively contribute to DevGuild sessions to support knowledge sharing and consistent working methods across the entire department.
- At least 8 years of experience in the technology sector, Cloud architecture and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), preferably in a logistics environment including Linux/VMware experience.
- Strong infrastructure background and understands data centers, storage solutions, VMware, networking, and operating systems.
- Problem‑solving skills and strong communication skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills in English and fluent in Dutch or B2 + level.
- This position offer a hybrid working ( 3 days per week) at the office around Hoofddorp area.
