Senior HR Business Partner NL

We are looking for a motivated, pro-active and experienced Senior HR Business Partner. In a team of two, your primary focus will be redesigning the current HR framework of the company, as well as developing and implementing (new) people management strategies and performance initiatives. You will provide expert HR guidance to Managers across all departments, collaborating closely to ensure alignment with strategic business objectives. This hands-on role is situated within a dynamic, fast-paced international organization dedicated to maintaining high technological standards across various projects. Your base of operations will be our Amsterdam office located in Duivendrecht.

Responsibilities – What will you be doing?

• Redesigning the current HR framework to integrate fresh perspectives, modern practices and innovative strategies, ensuring alignment with evolving organizational needs and industry standards. This includes updating the current documentations, folders and online system setup.
• Own all HR aspects, including compensation and benefits, recruitment, health and wellbeing, performance management, training and development and absence management. Additionally, lead HR projects from beginning to completion, aligning them with company objectives and values.
• Compile management reports and maintain HR administration to the highest standards. Identify opportunities for process improvement and proactively influence HR strategy and business plans to achieve strategic goals.
• Provide comprehensive HR support to managers, ensuring adherence to best practices and legal requirements. Contribute to organizational and management development initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Furthermore, offering expert advice and coaching to managers and colleagues to optimize individual and business performance.
  
  

Skills and Experience – Who are you?

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Human Resources and at least 5 years work experience in a similar position. Experience in a fast paced environment is a pre.
• Possessing knowledge of Dutch governmental regulations. Possessing knowledge of UK and EU governmental regulations is a big plus.
• Mature personality with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• A strong personal integrity and independent mindset. Also able to bring different perspectives across, and being able to have challenging discussions to bring it to concrete actions.
• Pro-active and result-driven for a role where operational, tactical & strategical HR aspects are combined, as well as the ‘hard’ and ‘soft’ aspects of HR.
• Problem solving and analytical skills; ability to prioritize and complete tasks.
• Ability to handle ad-hoc tasks and respond flexibly to changing circumstances.
• Being comfortable with working 4 or 5 days onsite. Hybrid work arrangements are open for discussion and consideration within the scope of this role.
• Fluent Dutch, both written and spoken (C2) and fluent English, both written and spoken (C1/C2).
• You hold Dutch or European citizenship.
