About the Department:
The Product Management department plans the sustainable product and technology roadmap for Europe and works on developing advanced, full electric bus and truck series which fulfill current and future European public transportation market needs. By cooperating with European leading suppliers, the Product Management department continuously upgrades design and engineering abilities for excellent product performance and quality.
Main responsibilities of the department:
European market commercial vehicle product management and localization solution implementation；
Localized customer technical support；
New product technical analysis and management. Etc
Key Responsibilities:
1. Perform thorough analysis of the technical aspects and functions of European trucks to guide the development and research of BYD's new truck models and related technologies.
2. Review new regulations, integrate standards, and establish implementation guidelines for truck products.
3. Investigate customer requirements and develop technical solutions to fulfill their needs.
4. Develop localized product development strategies for BYD Trucks in Europe.
5. Take part in design evaluations, presenting design proposals and discussing and assessing alternative design solutions.
• Bachelor degree in Vehicle Engineering or similar major. Knowledge regarding commercial veichles are preferable.
• Ability to work in a trans-global business environment in the design, development, production and evolution of high-tech products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Very clear and systematic thinking that demonstrates strong judgment and problem-solving competencies;
• Excellent organization skills and able to work well in a team setting.
• Willing to travel around EU
• You have a creative mind and strong analytical skills
