About Control NL
The Business Control Team plays a central role within the business unit Commercial NL. The team is responsible for many different control activities like planning, budgeting, analysis, and the production and development of a wide range of management information reports for different stakeholders within and outside our unit. In order to achieve this, the team works closely with various teams/departments within the company and acts as a business partner. This job provides the opportunity to learn all the different aspects of Credit Insurance and work together with people throughout the organization locally and internationally.
What will you be doing as (Senior) Business Controller?
- Budgeting and forecasting;
- Producing a wide range of reports / management information;
- Improving existing reporting and developing new ones;
- Analysing and commenting on the P&L results, KPI’s, etc.;
- Advising management and different teams based on analysis;
- Acting as a business partner for different teams and finding solutions to standard and non-standard control and/or business-related issues raised by the teams;
- Contributing to the development of the internal control/compliance procedures.
Do you recognize yourself in this?
- You hold a bachelor and/or master degree, preferably in the finance/control area;
- You have at least 2-5 years of work experience preferably in the finance/control area;
- Advanced knowledge of Excel and Business Objects;
- Preferably insight into SQL and VBA, but this is not a requirement;
- Knowledge of Access or Hyperion is a plus;
- Experience in Tableau or Power BI is a plus;
- Analytical, structured and clear thinking;
- Time management & high multitasking;
- Problem-solving by looking at issues in a wider perspective;
- Clear communication – both in speech and in writing;
- You are a team player;
- Fluent in English, proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
