We are now looking for a Field Service Technician to join our Field Service team and who will assist us in making a valuable difference in the century to come. We ensure that compressors continue to operate for years to come through maintenance plans, supply of OEM parts, service calls and equipment modifications to today's technology or changed operating conditions and repairs. The Technicians perform under supervision of the Senior Technician the installation, commissioning and start-up activities for new compressor systems, perform preventive and corrective maintenance on rotating equipment, particularly reciprocating compressors according with the customer’s set safety and quality requirements. In this dynamic position, you will be working on customer sites all in the EMEA-region.

• Make the necessary preparation based on the scope of work and collect the required materials and tools to be fully prepared to prevent delays according to the instructions of the Senior Technician.
• Perform all activities related to the service and repair or maintenance products taken on for service/repair under supervision of the Senior Technician.
• Control of own performed work and corrects where needed.
• Provide time lists and simple daily reports.
• Provide simple trouble shooting activities and take direct action to cascade complex trouble shooting activities to the Senior Technician.
• Reading of simple technical drawings.
• Perform simple dimensioning activities.
• Coaching junior technicians on the job.
• Follows up on set quality and safety requirements. Observes and reports unsafe situations. Contributes to the improvement of own safety.

• Relevant technical background (MBO) and knowledge of rotating equipment.
• Several years of experience as a Technician (Service Engineer).
• Customer focus, flexibility and a pro-active and constructive attitude.
• Problem solving skills.
• Experience in making reports.
• A good knowledge of maintenance concepts and process techniques.
• Strong safety and quality minded, enjoys working both independently as well as within a team.
• Willing to travel around 70% of the time and up to 9 weeks away from home and travel globally with sometimes a short notice period.
• English language skills is an absolute must, Dutch language skills is preferred.
