Microsoft 365 Engineer

As a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you are a true pioneer, someone who investigates the latest developments in the field of Exchange, Microsoft 365, MS Teams, Azure, and Intune. You strive to constantly improve and innovate, and with your enthusiasm, you know how to take your teammates along and help them on their way. Your sprint is successful when you have answered a technical and complex question and you do not avoid any challenge. In the sprint, you also get time to work on your personal development. And you work both in the office and from home.

In your role as a Microsoft 365 Engineer, you are responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our various collaboration tools and solutions that integrate our on‑premise and cloud‑based platforms. You work closely with your colleagues in a multidisciplinary team, but also with internal stakeholders to understand the IT needs of the organization and to be able to offer customized solutions. The strong focus here is on combining and optimizing the collaboration tools of different environments, such as on‑premise and hybrid solutions like Microsoft Exchange and cloud‑based solutions such as Microsoft Teams, Office 365, and Microsoft Entra ID. Of course, the security aspect also plays a major role in this.

An important aspect of this position is that you take initiatives to automate repetitive tasks by making use of the Power Platform or via PowerShell scripting. You are a sparring partner for the team and the business who is not afraid to step forward due to your extensive experience. For this, you organize sessions to further clarify issues, take initiatives to discuss security‑related topics, and you enjoy helping the Product Owner set up the roadmap and work out the PBIs.
