Yes, the Flutter fan base is a thing and here at funda, we’re fans too. To be more precise: about three years ago we started with building features in Flutter using add-to-app (check out how we did this here). That was nice but we also realized that the adventure didn't end there. After a large-scale migration, we now have a complete app in Flutter.
We're not done yet. Yes, we have a solid foundation, but we need you for the next step. Our feature teams are eager to release new features in the apps. To support them in this, we have the Apps Platform team. They oversee the architecture of the entire app and are responsible for cross-cutting concerns. "In other words," your Team Lead Maarten explains, "your team ensures that the lives of those other teams become easier."
Your job in a nutshell
- Developing a bootstrap for Flutter modules
- Maintaining platform functionality such as push notifications.
- Keeping an overview of the architecture of our apps.
- Support feature teams building their features for the apps
- CI/CD and release management
To make a next step in our Flutter journey, we are setting up a Platform team for our apps and we’re specifically looking for a Flutter developer to join. For now, Team Apps consists of Dmitry (Service Owner) and your Team Lead Maarten.
Your profile
- Senior Developer with a minimum of 5 years experience within mobile development
- Extensive experience with Flutter within a complex environment
- You can clearly and confidently explain your decisions by communicating verbally and written in clear and concise English
