Domain Architect

Action Technology is looking for an experienced Domain Architect to define, drive and safeguard the Buying & Supply Chain technology landscape. Are you ready to join our team? You’ll define the target architecture state within the Buying & Supply Chain domain on a tactical/ strategical level and develop the technology roadmap to support transformation of the architecture from current to target state. The Domain Architect ensures alignment with the Enterprise Architecture and compliance with Architecture principles, guidelines and standards. The Domain Architect works closely with the business stakeholders within the Buying & Supply Chain business domain(s), but also aligns with other Domain and Solutions architects and with Project Managers within IT Project & Portfolio whenever appropriate. Additionally the Domain Architect manages the relationship from the business domain to other business and technical architecture domains.

Action Technology has multiple domain architects with whom you will discuss overarching topics, consult with the Enterprise and Solution Architects. You will be a part of the Enterprise Architecture team.

You are familiar with the fields of Buying & Supply Chain. You also understand the dynamics surrounding Technology architecture and are able to use your soft skills for the best results. Pragmatism without losing sight of quality. You build bridges easily between the various interests and stakeholders, communicating clearly and persuading, with the end goal and results in mind. You are good at connecting with your Architect colleagues and the Enterprise Architect, and you contribute your experience, both asked for and unsolicited. You also know that it’s not just about functionality and technology, but that it's also always about security, manageability, performance, costs and scalability.

• 8+ years of experience in a similar role
• Extensive knowledge and experience with relevant platforms within assigned domain (e.g. SAP)
• Knowledge of Retail processes, especially within Buying & Supply Chain
• Stakeholder and change management skills
• In depth knowledge of IT landscapes, architectural design, migration and integration strategies
• Proven architecture track record, TOGAF level2 certification preferred
• ITIL foundation and Prince II practitioner certification preferred
• Experience with methods like Agile Scrum, ASL, BiSL, BPM, Archimate, COBIT
• Proficient presentation skills, both verbal and in writing in the English Language to senior management
