About this vacancy

As a Manufacturing Engineer NPI, you represent the production department and serve as a bridge between customers, R&D and production departments. You ensure that products are manufactured and/or assembled correctly – first time right.

Based on your technical knowledge or experience with complex assembly processes, you check the feasibility of each new product and/or process design. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you are either the lead or a participant in a multifunctional team (including quality, R&D, engineering, purchasing, work preparation, production) with the aim of achieving the best results together.

You also handle change requests (and do the risk assessments), create user manuals, work instructions, etc. For the operators.

Clients are found in the areas of semicon, complex machine building, automotive, healthcare, aerospace.

What we expect from you

• Education: Bachelor or Master level degree in mechanical engineering or similar;
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as an engineer in technically complex manufacturing and/or assembly projects;
• Experience with Design for Manufacturing, Design for Assembly, FMEA, 8D, SPC and creating work instructions;
• Strong social and communication skills (self-confident, persuasive, proactive, stakeholder management);
• You have a good command of Dutch and English;
