Data Governance Manager

📍 Veldhoven – Noord-Brabant | 40 hours per week | Start: October 1, 2025 | Apply before: September 19, 2025

We are looking for a Data Governance Manager who will strengthen and mature the organization’s data management capabilities. In this role, you will ensure that data becomes a trusted and strategic asset, supporting key business priorities and enabling reliable decision‑making.

You will improve data quality, drive compliance with regulations, and create awareness throughout the business about the value of data.

• Lead strategic initiatives in the field of data governance and data management.

• Improve, monitor, and maintain data quality across domains.

• Develop and implement processes, templates, and education programs.

• Ensure compliance with relevant data‑related legislation and regulations.

• Act as an ambassador for data governance and drive cultural change across the organization.

• Collaborate with stakeholders from business and IT to secure a consistent data strategy.

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Data Governance, Data Management, and Data Quality Management, preferably in consultancy or large organizations.

• Familiarity with data architectures and technologies; hands‑on experience is a plus.

• Academic degree (or bachelor’s degree with solid relevant experience).

• Excellent stakeholder management skills and a collaborative attitude.

• Strong communication skills and fluency in English (both written and spoken).

• Independent, result‑driven, and pragmatic with a “getting things done” mentality.
