As a Compliance Officer at xxllnc, you combine the roles of project lead, advisor, and controller. You play a central role within the S&C team and support the organization in complying with frameworks, audits, customer requirements, and legal obligations.
You are responsible for part of our compliance program, including quality management, risk management, ESG (environmental, social, and governance compliance), and privacy.
You operate in an environment where prioritization, pragmatic thinking, and maintaining oversight are essential. You work meticulously where necessary, without getting lost in details. A positive and creative mindset is important to find solutions for complex or new challenges within a growing and integrating organization.
This role offers you the opportunity to drive meaningful positive change. You help xxllnc comply with complex internal and external requirements, support colleagues in improving their processes and performing their work effectively, ensure management has the right information to make informed decisions, and provide both solicited and unsolicited advice on the topics under your responsibility.
Key responsibilities

- Support international expansion within Europe (initial focus: Nordics).
You help teams and leadership to:
- Balance regulatory requirements with innovation.
- Choose sustainable and efficient solutions.
- Focus on real security and quality improvements—not bureaucracy.
- Meet customer, regulatory, and legal requirements.
You are curious, proactive, and able to quickly understand complex topics. You create clarity in environments with multiple stakeholders, systems, and sometimes competing requirements.
What you bring:
- Master’s level thinking and working ability.
- At least 2 years of relevant experience (more for a medior role).
- A pragmatic, results-oriented mindset.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Interest in SaaS and a basic understanding of software development.
- Ability to clearly explain complex topics.

Nice to have:
- Knowledge of information security or software development processes.
- Experience with international compliance frameworks (e.g. ISO-based standards).
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to align different audit requirements.
- A great hybrid working environment (working from home and from our Amsterdam office), where your ideas and input are valued.
- Flexible working hours with a high level of autonomy.
- The opportunity to focus on what you do best, with plenty of room to further develop your skills.
- A competitive benefits package, including a market-aligned salary, a solid pension plan, and various learning and development opportunities.
