For our journey ahead, we are looking to build up our team of bright minds further, and we are looking for a Counsel, Compliance and Business Control Specialist to join our growing team in İstanbul.
About the Role
As a Counsel and Compliance member, you will play a crucial role to deliver superior contract management, alignment of company practices with legislation and global operations expansion.
What You Will Do
- Leading role in reviewing and negotiating various types of contracts with clients and vendors.
- Review contracts and advise business units with respect to compliance requirements.
- Ensure the Company is in compliance with legal regulations especially in the US and TR with a team of local legal counsels and related business units.
- Ensure proper implementation of regulatory changes and other legislative progresses.
- Prepare and ensure compliance of the Company’s statutory processes e.g. General Assembly, Circulatory and Board of Directors decisions.
- Support global growth in different countries on company establishments, presence, team assignments and corporate restructuring.
- Lead KYC processes.
- Ensure updated and proper corporate policies and records.
What We Are Looking For
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Faculty of Law, Political Sciences, Economics or Administrative Sciences.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.
- The ability to build strong, effective relationships with business partners.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Having 1-2 years of experience in international company would be an asset.
- Strong analytical and advisory skills, including the ability to review and evaluate multi-faceted issues.
- The ability to use creative problem-solving skills to resolve issues in a pragmatic and sound manner.
- A great team player with a self-initiative mindset.
