UX Designer

ABOUT THE JOB

At Build in Amsterdam, we are seeking a talented UX designer who is passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences and driven to create products that challenge convention to stand out in the industry. You will be responsible for creating validated solutions for our digital flagship stores, while also providing guidance and insights to team members, such as designers, strategists, and writers.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Use your UX skills to strengthen briefs, define objectives, and deliver top-notch user experience.
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research. Communicate and visualize research insights clearly to both team and stakeholders.
• Create high-quality UX deliverables including but not limited to user flows, information architectures, site maps, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Conduct pre- & post-launch validation to ensure that the product meets the needs of its users.
• Be a strong advocate for user-centered design to both the internal team and external stakeholders.
• Stay updated on the latest standards, trends, and techniques in UX design and incorporate them into your work to ensure our projects are innovative and cutting-edge.

IT WOULD BE AWESOME IF

• You have 2-5+ years of UX design experience.
• You have experience delivering high-quality UX deliverables.
• You understand how to balance usability with aesthetics and can identify the right trade-offs to make at the right times.
• You have skills in current industry tools with the ability to adapt to new technologies.
• You have experience in UX research (both qualitative and quantitative).
• You ensure projects meet the needs of users and are continuously optimized to provide an exceptional user experience.
• You are a creative thinker who loves challenging conventions.
• You have strategic problem-solving skills and the strategy skills to deliver best-in-class solutions.
• You are highly proficient in written & spoken English.
• You are led by curiosity, humility & a passion for doing great work.
