Shopify Developer

We’re looking for a Shopify developer, with minimum 3 years experience, to join our growing creative team in Amsterdam. We're an award‑winning digital agency and Europe's leading Shopify Plus partner. We focus on strategy, design, development and data‑driven growth in the e-commerce industry, with a client base of international fashion, lifestyle and beauty brands.

As a Shopify Developer at Ask Phill, you have the opportunity and responsibility to define the development vision as well as the Shopify development team. You are taking the lead in multiple projects at the same time and ensuring successful delivery, consistently. You are able to get the best out of all the team members and take responsibility for the team's output.

The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work and gets excited about leading different projects - with a love for collaborating with others. You have an interest in the current e-commerce landscape and an innovative and creative mentality, with the ability to deliver exceptional e-commerce experiences and the confidence to make justified recommendations for development work.

Most importantly, you are extremely passionate about coding with a strong work ethic and an extraordinary attention to detail and precision.

• Extensive Javascript knowledge (ES6), Liquid, Node, Webpack, Git and GraphQL.

• At least 3 years + experience with Shopify.

• Proven Shopify theme development skills.

• Proven Shopify App development skills.

• Pixel perfect development.

• Up to date with industry development trends and tools.

• Worked on projects as a lead developer before.

• An eagerness to improve your own development knowledge and ability.

  • Experience with Headless e-commerce.

  • Experience with other e-commerce tools and apps.

  • Have worked within a variety of agile development teams and processes.
