đź‘©đź’» Your impactAs our Senior Market Access Manager for the Kaleido insulin pump, you will be responsible for shaping and executing market access and reimbursement strategies across key European markets.
Key responsibilitiesDevelop and execute integrated market access strategies for Germany, France and the Netherlands, aligned with commercial plans.
Shape market entry strategies and access roadmaps for new markets such as the UK, Italy, Spain and Australia, including sequencing of HTA submissions, pricing and contracting approach.
Translate Kaleido’s clinical and user benefits into compelling value propositions tailored to payers, HTA bodies, clinicians and patient organisations.
Lead or support reimbursement and funding processes in priority markets (e.g. GKV in Germany, NHS England, regional decision makers in Spain).
Coordinate HTA dossiers, reimbursement submissions and tender documentation, working closely with internal teams and external consultants.
Provide input into pricing strategies and value-based pricing models across markets.
Monitor and anticipate changes in policy, reimbursement frameworks and benefit structures affecting insulin pumps, CGM and hybrid closed loop systems, and translate implications into concrete actions.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with national and regional payers, assessors, diabetes clinical leaders and patient organisations.
Design and execute payer engagement plans, including advisory boards, early scientific advice, budget impact discussions and contract negotiations.
Partner with Medical Affairs to ensure real-world evidence and clinical data support reimbursement, renewals and tenders.
Act as the interface between Leadership, Marketing and Commercial teams, ensuring alignment between access conditions, launch sequence and commercial execution.
Provide market access insights into brand planning, launch readiness, forecasting and life-cycle management.
Train internal teams and distribution partners on value messages, reimbursement pathways and access tools.
Analyse market access performance (time to reimbursement, coverage levels, patient access metrics) and identify opportunities to improve.
Benchmark against other insulin pump and CGM manufacturers in Europe to ensure competitiveness in access and value communication.
You have proven experience securing reimbursement for medical devices or diabetes therapies in Europe, and you’re motivated to help scale a fast-growing challenger in the insulin pump market. In this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring people living with type 1 diabetes gain sustainable access to Kaleido in both existing and new markets.
Master’s degree in Health Economics, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Public Health, Business or a related field.
5+ years of Market Access / Reimbursement experience in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry, with at least part of that in diabetes, endocrinology, medical devices or digital health.
Proven track record of successfully obtaining or defending reimbursement for innovative therapies or devices in at least one of: Germany, France, Netherlands, UK, Italy, or Spain.
Strong experience with payers / HTA processes (e.g. Dossier development, value dossiers, budget impact models, HTA interactions, tenders).
Experience working in or with similar MedTech organisations is a strong plus.
Fluent English (written and spoken) is a must. Fluency in German or Dutch is strongly preferred; French, Italian or Spanish are clear advantages.
Deep understanding of European healthcare systems, reimbursement landscapes and funding mechanisms, especially for diabetes technologies (pumps, CGM, AID).
Ability to translate complex clinical and economic data into clear, persuasive value stories tailored to different stakeholders.
Strong project management skills: able to drive multiple country projects in parallel, with structured planning and follow-through.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Comfortable working in a fast-growing, scale-up environment where processes are evolving and you can help shape them.
