General requirements:
PhD degree in one of the following specializations Electrical / Telecommunication Engineering or Computer Science
Ability to independently pursue own work (“getting things done” attitude)
Understanding trends and research directions in 6G research (e.g. RRM, JCAS, and AI in RAN)
Good command of English language is mandatory
Ready to collaborate with other team members
Experience of developing patent and writing research grant proposal
Technical expertise
Minimum 3-4 years telecommunication industry experience
Strong background in RAN architecture and selected elements of signalling
Solid skills in L2/L3 algorithms design and development
Solid competences in system level simulation and/or prototyping
ORAN knowledge is preferable (experience with xApp development will be a plus)
PHY experience will be a plus
Responsibilities
Active engagement into 6G research projects (mainly in relation to the company LiquidRAN™ product)
Performing design and validation of novel 5G/6G algorithms and solutions (e.g. RRM)
Development of simulations necessary to validate research solutions for 5G/6G
Contribution to proposal preparation (e.g. HE, SNS JU)
Writing reports, papers, contributing to patents
Coding skills:
Good command of Python or Matlab is required
knowledge of C/C++/Java will be a plus
