Group General Counsel (Interim), Region Europe

In this role, you will lead and manage the Legal & Compliance function, ensuring adherence to all relevant laws and regulations. You will act as a business partner to C-level executives, providing advice on complex legal matters with a focus on Corporate, M&A, Commercial (supply, IT, financing, real estate), Compliance, GDPR, claims, disputes, and transactions to protect the company's interests and manage risks. This is a solo role in a dynamic international environment (e.g., owned, larger company), reporting to the CFO.
Profile:
- Law degree (MSc.), with broad and strong knowledge of company, M&A, corporate, contract law, and compliance
- 10+ years of experience in a similar role within an international, larger, dynamic, and complex profit environment
- Affinity for, and preferably experience with, B2B, supply, logistics, tech, FMCG, retail industries
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Proven track record in managing a Legal & Compliance function
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience advising C-level executives on complex legal issues and disputes
- Ability to work efficiently with various stakeholders, including law firms, supervisory boards, functional leads, OpCo management teams, and external authorities
- Excellent command of English; proficiency in German, Dutch, or French is an advantage.
