Join our team at Royal Philips group as a Senior Architect Vision and Measurement, where you'll be a key player in elevating product and system quality through the development of cutting-edge measurement strategies and concepts & systems for new high-end vision & measurement applications.
Your role:
- Contribute to the technical leadership of the team concerning both HW/SW design.
- Contribute to project proposals, provide input to the project leader for make or buy decisions, and support decision-making processes.
- Analyze customer specifications, propose design and calibration solutions, delivering proof-of-concepts to demonstrate the validity of the proposed solution, and oversee integral system design in collaboration with engineering teams.
- Specify hardware for capturing relevant measurement parameters. For a vision system, this includes the choice of the camera, lens, illumination, and if necessary.
- Lead the vision and measurement team and support the vision and measurement design team in developing measurement system software and algorithms for data or image content processing.
- Apply a structured working methodology, including V-model, planning, tracking, software quality, documentation, and communication.
- Support the vision and measurement design team, coach engineers, and maintain a network/community of suppliers, peers, and customers.
You're the right fit if you have:
- Master’s degree in physics, electrical engineering or computer science.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an architect or system engineer in the vision & measurement domain.
- Minimum 5 years of experience with applying vision technology, both software programming & hardware (illumination & optics) in engineering projects.
- Experience with physical/electrical measurement techniques.
- Experience in Agile development methodologies.
- Mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills.
- Fluent in English.
Advantages:

- Affinity with working in a medical environment.
- Experience with instrument control, data acquisition and signal processing.
- Experience with Halcon, LabVIEW, C#, C/C++, Matlab.
- Experience in Object Oriented programming.
